2WD - 4WD Mode Change Malfunction

    I'm receiving a 2WD-4WD mode change malfunction warning intermittently on my 2020 Tacoma Sport. I am able to switch between 2WD, 4 HI, and 4 LO, so the warning is false. I've had a mechanic take a look at this, and they did a reset of the ECU, but the warning keeps coming back. Does anyone have a solution to this?
