    That’s a tough call, because every situation is different. What I’ve noticed is sometimes it will kick in when you are not expecting it. Like in my original post. I say use it and you’ll get to understand how to throttle the system without spinning the tires in the rain, and or let it do it for you. It’ll “just happen.”

    I use mine on my county dirt road every day to get up the washboard hills without bouncing and spinning the tires which rips out tread chunks.

    I was driving to work in the snow one day in 4HI watching my gas gauge go down quickly, said F that and put it in 2HI with auto LSD. Never turned a tire or had a problem. Now it's LSD first and 4HI if that won't work.
