Was reading and saw everyone mentioning their injuries in here wanted to let you all know if you have any questions about strengthening, stretching, prehabing for surgery, or post surgery I may be able to help out. I can answers any questions you guys may have or recommend exercises for your specific case.

I received my bachelors degree at Cal state Northridge in Kinesiology:emphasis In exercise science and I work at a Physical therapy clinic where I help patients with all that kind of stuff and even work with collegiate athletes in the off season. I will be applying to Several Doctorate of Physical therapy programs this summer and hopefully I can get in.

But yeah let me know if you all have any questions. There are a lot of misconceptions and ambiguity.

Good to know ya. Welcome to the thread.
Shoulder is getting better now that its popped back into place. That all the docs, xrays and MRI said is wasn't dislocated.

Good to hear the shoulder is at least back in place. Definitely need to work on building your strength back. I saw that you also said you have a 3mm tear in your rotate cuff. Do you know which tendon or ligament specifically? You would definitely want to take a different approach to recovering your strength and muscle endurance if you have a tear.

Not specifically. My therapy is my job... no rest for the wicked in my business. I try not to injure it further, but I am glad I have full ranges of motion even though it hurts like a mother f'er to put in some positions.

Hey guys, happy this thread is going. Anybody have some thoughts on shocks and leaf spring replacement?
    I got a 2003 double cab 2WD w/ rear locker
approaching 200k, I’m starting to replace some factory stuff to keep her running strong.
Would love to hear some opinions on those as well as any other things you guys have replaced to keep the taco running strong.
    Thanks in advance!

It depends on what you're looking to get out of the truck and your budget, there's an astronomical amount of options for shocks/springs

I went with Bilstein 6112s/5160s with a three leaf AAL and its a great setup, however, I'd recommend getting a new leaf pack as my AAl already sags with a shell on my truck

I’m looking for longevity really, I don’t take it off road too much as I’m just getting into the scene and don’t really have people to go with but, I know my leaf springs are darn near flat and have decide to just swap out that and the shocks but wanted some opinions before I make a move.

    @bigMac28
Could look for a set of 3rd gen take offs on here and put them on.... shocks and leaf pack, there are a few here that have it laying around cause they swapped out to these choices....
    Bilstein 5100's or 6112
Aal or Dakar or deaver leaf pack
Icon, fox or king and new leaf pack.

I'd say the 5100s would be a good fit for you

solid ride quality, affordable, can be used for stock height or lifted applications and work offroad if you do want to venture off the pavement ever
