2WD Offroad Help..Dif.Lock? huh

    Custom badged black, 100watt LOUDSPEAKER mounted under toolbox, UWS toolbox, All terrain Tires, K&N Ram Air Intake, HUGE flood lights mounted to Tool Box, Cobra CB radio, Francis Antenna, HELLA Blue Headlights, 12 Pad LEDS in Cab lights, Husky Liners, Tinted Windows at 15%, Thrush Glass Pack (burned Out) with 4inch Tip..Remote Crank and Intry, 2 12" subs, Blacked out head lights and tail lights.
    Ive been hearing alot of 2wd dif. lock. What is that exactly...I have a 2000 prerunner2WD ..Do i have it? and does it effect me offroad?

    trd models have an electronic locker wich locks you rear axels together instead of lsd or open diff.!

    I keep it Stock but Clean!
    If your truck is stock then you probably don't. The rear diff. locker is a feature available on 2005+ tacomas and usually comes with ones with the Off road Package. The locker is intended to help you out if your in some mud or sand by giving both rear tires power opposed to the usual 1. You can add one to your 200 Prerunner but your gonna have to buy the rear diff kit and install a switch in your dash to get the same effect.

    3" in front, stock in back, 285/75/16 BFG KM2,5% tint all around, UWS black low profile, DTRL,line-X, deckplate...
    my 2003 prerunner came stock with rear dif lock

    Yeah...the "TRD OFFROAD" trucks all come with the e-locker (fulltime locker). 1st gens & 2nd gens....
