Pay off the truck, that's the best advice I have seen so far. After it paid off, then mod the hell out of it.

Some times it makes you more intelligent when you keep your mouth shut.

    Reminds me of...

"better to keep your mouth shut and let people wonder if you're stupid than opening it and proving you're stupid"

    ...or something like that. :D

THIS POST IS NOT ABOUT SPEEDING OR DOING NAD THINGS JUST FYI STUFF!

i respect you guys opinion and understand it, i hope you consider mine at least. the reason i have all the equipment is for a purpose, to get to places no one else will go to help people. keeping that in mind what the equipment does is help create a 1/4mile radius, that includes police and also normal drivers, so i know where everyone is at all times. if there is ANYONE around i do not speed at all ! one of the rules i live by is that if at anytime someone would ask me the color, make, model of the 2 cars ahead of me and the 2 cars behind me i will be able to answer it correctly, can you?

on the interstate i kill all interior lights, i have true digital gps speed display at windshield so i never have to look away, i have cell phone off, radio off, and do not speak to passengers. 100% focused at all times.

i have 5% tint, i keep driver and passenger windows down with mirrors aimed properly and back window open with rear view mirror aimed properly. all equipment has audio signalling, meaning every device alerts me real time though an ear bud i have run through the headrest, so again i never have to loose focus or look at anything but the road.

so my speed read out is in front of me and and all alerts regarding anything withing 1/4 mile i get through ear bud.

i think that may qualify for making me at least taking driving safety a little more serious than the average person? i maybe wrong, but i go to every possible length and every expense to try to be the safest. i just ordered FLIR as well...

    sorry if i offended anyone

    cheers,
    disco

Disco, do you go by Geko45 on gun boards? Your post seems familiar, do you do protection as mall security? For those of you who are interested:

Why not just join an actual public service then? Sheriff? Local pd? Do have any credentials in search and rescue, emt or the likes?

Frenchy, thank you for your service. I'm with the other guys about paying your truck off though, or at least putting enough back into it that you have some equity.

And this guy can't be for real...
