Can I use the short shift kit from my X-Runner in a new 4x4 DC?

ok i really wanted the B&M S/S really badly but when I saw that it was meant for the 4x2 (XR and Prerunners) only I hesitated on purchasing it cause I wondered if it was possible to use the same shifter since the transmission is exactly the same...only difference is the 4x4 transfer case...

I opted on purchasing the TRD S/S for the 4x4s...about a month of installing I saw a member on here install the B&M S/S into his 4x4 taco without any problems....so from that I'm sure its possible...you shouldn't have any problems just don't drive it if there is any binding between the shifter and transmission...

good luck and keep us posted on which S/S you end up going with bro...
