2wd BS and SoCal meet ups and Tacoma fun

Man, I gotta join you guys next time! Haven't been on a real trail adventure yet since I picked up my truck.

 

Welcome to the group, runs are happening almost every week the more people get added to the thread. Trying to get to big bear again soon, just really need my taco back out of quarantine.

 

Sounds like a plan brotha. Going to take my father in law next time. He doesn't find out if he'll have a Monday off until Friday night. I know that's short notice but I'll let you know.

What's the best way to stay informed? I have weekends. Now that I have a truck, always looking for something to do.

Thanks! That was at Chuckwalla, taken last year. But I am also with you, I sold my Mercedes C55 so I could get a truck and haul the bike around. It's nice having a truck, way more practical.

 

What kind of bike are you riding at the track? I'm going to Chuckwalla October 6th, you should try to make it out. It shouldnt be as hot anymore. Yes I love my truck. Problem is now I have to choose what to put money into. The bike or the truck, Lol. #TheStruggleIsReal

 

07 600rr, you? I'm down for a track day, what group do you ride and what track organization? I've ridden a lot with Track Daz, my plan is to venture out and try new tracks and organization. Been wanting to ride Willow Springs, Buttonwillow and Sonoma.

Yea, same here. I plan on making her a desert runner in the long run, but for now, she's my garage queen that likes to hit the dirt every once in awhile.

Me.... no, not trail wise. Need to get this rental in shape, keep poking the dealer for mine and sell some stuff from my garage. I won't be out and about until I get my truck back. Others will I am sure. Post over here too,

That's why i'm glad i've got a white truck, as nice as they are sometimes, you can't really see the pen strips on a white truck.

 

Status update for truck parts. Not in and no eta of when they will be in.

I won't call everyday until week 3. Right now just Monday or Tuesday and on Friday. I am going to squeak more than my fucking leaf springs,body mounts, and as crazy as it sounds. Most of the squeaking comes from the front plastic bumper/wheel well and grill areas.

 

hahaha, you series? the plastics and grill squeak on your truck?

 

You should ask if you can trade out the truck rental for a different one. keep swapping out truck and test drive all of them.

 

I shit you not, I bent down and leaned on the bumper to look at something and it squeaked. So I shook the truck by the wheel well and the bumper was making all kinds of noise.

 

They gave Jay a Nissan Frontier for the first rental.

 

damn that's crazy....mine squeaks a little but then again its a 12yr old truck!

 

Hey guys so I ended up just buying the headstrong 1/2" top plate spacer to level my truck and wondering if anyone here can help with the installation. Thanks in advance guys.
