2wd BS and SoCal meet ups and Tacoma fun

I’m kind of glad I have a 2nd gen now

 

Anyone know of the best camping site in Joshua Tree to go star gazing, I should be heading out there Thursday night on the weekend of the new moon oh yeah, and RTT friendly if that’s even an issue

 

Ryan's campground is in the dirt and RTT friendly. Great view wide open desert, dark and quiet. Most of the other if not all the sites have asphalt roads throughout and are meant to walk into the site to set up a tent. You would have to park on the side of the street away from the campsite. Ryan's Cg you can pull your truck right up next to the fire pit ( I like spot #1)

Ok a Tuesday you'll be good, fri- Sunday good fucking luck. I live in JT and usually head out on the weekdays sometimes around 9-10pm and usually find one pretty quick. If you pull up at the gate and it says campgrounds full. Turn around TRUST me I've made the mistake countless times of saying fuck it and driving to every site in hopes of a open spot just in case. Failed every time . Have fun dude

anywhere off of Gold Crown Rd is awesome for star gazing, your away from any crowds and the further south you go the more secluded you are. You'll be on BLM land so you can set up camp anywhere you want.

 

Anyone been up to the Sierra's fishing lately? I'm heading up tonight and wondering what their biting on.

 

Ive actually been out on that road, but just wasn't sure if we were allowed to camp out there, thanks for the info
