Post up your 2 wheel drives, with or without rear lockers. Let's see mods you have done and get a socal 2 wheel group going. All generations are welcome to spread the love for their truck. We will try to schedule meet ups for trail runs, camping, fishing and bs.

Yes it could, if we can just get more 2wd people together on this 4wd dominant site.

What's up guys? Glad this thread was made, I'm definately all about a SoCal 2WD group going. Who would be up to do Santa Ysabel Trail next weekend May 6th? IMG_9270.jpgIMG_9069.jpg

Well luckily the trail is a 2WD trail. I've done it before and looking at everyone's pictures of their trucks we should all be fine as far as clearance.

Yeah I've done a bunch of easy trails. Clearance and good tires.

For most of us it is our daily driver and we are not looking to do shit to get us stuck or broken. Just out to play, BS, drink beer and bbq out in man's country. Lol

Nice truck. How much does the locker help? Considering getting an ARB

Mine is my daily driver myself, so I wouldn't take it anywhere I felt it would get messed up. If thats what you're looking to do, this trail would be perfect.

The locker helps a lot. It's my next update after recall is taken care of. Most of the 4wd guys only use 2wd 90 percent of the time. The locker will get you to about 80 percent of where a 4wd can go

Locked 2wd and good line picking will get you further than you think. Only time my lack of 4wd hurts is when I need to climb something or cross somewhat deep water/sand

But choice of line and momentum solves most issues. Be smart, if unsure about what is ahead... get out and walk (scout ) the trail.

Exactly, so everyone would be fine. I just need to find a couple people who would be interested in going that are 2WD.

It's difficult to run around with 4 wheel drives on 35's with full armor.

You're not wrong...It's also hard to find people to run with when 4x4s aren't going to want to run the trails we're capable of.
