2X Tacoma Towing Capability

sorry to ask another question in the thread but o have bee thinkin about gettin a pair of jet skies, but i dont have the towing hitch and i was quoted like $800 by my dealer to get one.

so i was just thinking about getting some trailer lights and towing from the bumper. think i can tow the much from the bumper i have no idea what its rated for i cant find it on any search i have done

 

Get yourself a class II or III hitch for you truck and do it right. They aren't all that expensive. I'm guessing about $150 then you dont have to worry about doing any damage. Dont get one from the dealer. Call Uhaul, or look online, I'm sure there are a million places that sell hitches.

 

Did you check the owners manual? I know for a fact its in there, if you have one that is. It is also printed on the actual bumper, if my memory serves me right.

 

o guys awesome i dont have my manual it some how dissapeared?? but ill check the bumper and see what it says.

also i was thinkin about goin to uhaul and seeing what they can do.
