Looking to get a 3” lift, I’m willing to spend $2000 on the lift itself. I don’t do any hard core off-roading, but every once in awhile I like to go wheeling. I also want something that won’t sag if I have decent weight in the bed. I plan on running 34” tires. What’re y’all’s recommendations?

Tons of posts about this subject... in fact, I just went through it recently. Stay away from 3”! 2.5” is about the perfect lift for a Taco. 3” puts way too much strain and too sharp of an angle on your CV boots. Long story short... DON’T DO IT!

Hello. For the weight I would recommend a new leaf pack. I personally run OME HD Dakars. Lots of mixed reviews on them. I think they are pretty awesome. That being said, there certainly is better packs out there for more money of course. (Icon, etc). For the front, 3 inch is good if you incorporate new UCAs. As others have stated, just keep an eye on your cv angles. I run OME887 springs/5100s on 1st notch with Dirt king UCAs, HD Dakar’s with 5160 in the rear. This gives me 3 in front, 2 in the rear. No issues whatsoever. Alignment, CV angles are great. Running 33 inch KM3s. Love the setup. Good luck my friend. Once the mod bug gets you, it bites hard. Ask me how I know

for a 3" lift and 34" tires you will need both UCAs and a cab mount chop, which takes a big chunk of your money already, of course thats only if you do it correctly. Do you have a 4x4?
