One thing to think about is how the ICONs are valved. They tend to not give that great of a street ride. From what I've read, they are valved such that the it basically smooths out the harder/faster you hit, so normal road driving may feel a bit harsh.

Kings or Fox I think do a better job with road and slow(er) off-road.

My wife said the Icons seem "bumpier", but she only mentioned that when we were talking about the lift in general.

I like the street performance of the Icons, my truck seems to corner better. I feel like I get much better "road feel", it feels a lot more responsive overall than the stock OR suspension.

I may not have described it correctly (I'm no shock expert), since I was operating off memory from reading other threads, but I found this:

    http://accutuneoffroad.com/articles/digressive-vs-linear-vs-progressive-pistons-shock-valving/

    Summary:
Digressive shocks (ICONs) are bad at small bumps and large bumps, but good at handling and g-outs. Progressive shocks (Fox/King) are good at small bumps and big hits, but bad at handling and g-outs.

It's a compromise in performance. But basically driving on the street you don't see too many G-outs, but when you're rompinn' in the desert you'd see that a lot.
