My vote is a critical ground somewhere breaking free on the hard turn and returning to continuity when you straighten out. But then again, what the hell do I know!

could this be a severe example of the vehicle stability control problems with 3rd gens ? getting it recalibrated at a dealer would be a good troubleshooting step

@Roma-Tacoma google tacoma vsc calibration problem after lift and you will see a ton of results

there is a zero point reset you can diy by jumping two pins with a small piece of wire but if you are not confident doing that your dealer can recalibrate / reset it

if that is the problem your truck thinks it is about to roll over because a sensor is feeding it bad info

Best theory based on minimal information I’ve heard. $5 bet?

That's why I (and I believe a bunch of others) have him blocked.

There is nothing electrical involved in installing a lift. The only thing that makes sense is a battery terminal not tightened after they were done. I guess the radar for the adaptive cruise could be off, but I can't see that shutting the truck down.

Why do people have to be like that?
He would not last very long with the Wisconsin TW crew.

My theory is he's 14 and acting like that makes him feel good about himself.

Take it back to the shop if you’re not mechanical enough. I would go through every nut and bolt the shop touched and the areas around where they worked. Keep us informed about your eventual solution as it might help someone else down the road.
