So i have a decision to make this morning..

    its 8.5 hours to Denver

    but

    its 8.5 hours to Moab

I am just not sure if I want to go to Moab anymore, and wheel in 100+ degrees. I mean I eventually want to, but my truck is now a very slow pig. I have an extra 100+ lbs of weight that isn't camping gear, that ive been lugging around and not using. I dont want to leave it or sell it to someone because i can use it on the east coast where the fire levels are lower. I think my brother is going to choose Denver (and i kind of agree with him because he's kind of getting annoying )

I know Ill just have to make another trip out here just for Colorado and Moab. And I totally want to do that.

    Anyways, heres my morning views:

I think it would be fun wheeling in Moab even in 100° weather. I did it in 110*... (dry heat etc.). That being said, if you're not feeling it and will complain the whole way, just skip it for now. That place has way more to offer than just TOTW, and if you're thinking of running a "dedicated" trip at some point, just do a dedicated trip.

Then again.... you are already kinda there

Skip Moab and head to Colorado. It’s a little out of your way but Imogene pass from telluride to Ouray is amazing and worth the extra miles.

TOW is like an hour outside moab too. Worth the scenic view though.

For 2 people, its good for about 5 days. Ive been basically living on mountain house, so the fridge just has drinks.

Sometimes I want a dual zone, but at the same time how often am I cooking frozen food or having ice cream?

I mean isn’t ice cream the breakfast of champions? Lol. I know what ya mean realistically makes more sense to have a big fridge versus a freezer as well. Definitely gonna check out that size.

What? Was Chebby too big to fit in the picture?

Good meeting you guys, hope you have smooth sailing for the rest of the trip

The camp mascot came back this morning. He took a 3 hour nap in the same EXACT spot then went back to the river for some lunch

Currently we are parked on I-80 east outside of Laramie. There's some accident on both sides. Gps says 35+ min delay....
