it was a factory alt. that i had rebuilt by a local alt/starter shot and turned up. A bigger pully turns your alt slower. a smaller pully spinns it faster which gives better low rpm charging.

glad you love it man. i lost my ass on that thing but on a better note i got my new 200 AMP with super grip pully ready to install.

installing it today. it's a big case 200 amp alt out of a 97 supra.

 

What does this set up cost you? Is it re built and tuned up like the other one? I need a new alt and see no reason to buy another stock one since I plan on more lights and my sub already?

 

Honestly i just bought that bad boy that way from eagle auto electronics. said 100% new on the box, i tested it and it puts out 90 amps at 600 rpm. but that 2.2 URD pully is $100 and then you have to have it machined to fit. you also need to mod the lower alt bracket and replace the wiring with 4 guage and new fuse holders.

Price wise im $400 into the 200 amp set up but the 130 one i just sold was only $200.
