Is there anything securing the dipstick tube besides the mount on front of motor? Can you just pull the tube out? I know there’s a rubber o-ring where it goes in but I wasn’t sure if that’s all that’s holding it in.
    Thanks for your help

You remove the 1 bolt near the top then pull it out. It will be hard to remove, and you may damage the rubber if it’s ol.

Thank you for response Mike. I’m replacing that rubber o-ring because i noticed yesterday it was a little damp around where it inserts.
I just replaced the rubber gasket in the oil cap due to the same issue.

Yes, you can. I'll be doing this as soon as they arrive.

O-ring part # for the bottom dipstick tube is 9672119010

In case you need it, the top O-ring for the dipstick is 9674119005

Can you post a pic of the o-ring once you get it? My one taco has a sleeve or something down there, wondering if the previous owner messed something up. Was gonna look at my other truck but figured I would likely tear the o-ring on removal

Just remove the 10mm bolt that secures the dipstick and pull up to remove.
