I am currently running 1.75" spidertrax spacers with my Method wheels (17x8.5, 0/4.75) and I am getting a lot of rubbing when turning. I would like to try smaller wheel spacers. I have a set of extended studs from Wheeladapter.com and installing them is easy.

Truck is a 2013 4x4 w/ 315/70/17s and trimming. I am rubbing on my wheel well mostly.

Is there a reason I should not contact Bora and get some hub centric spacers that dont have additional studs?

    kinda like these?

This is what I am trying to avoid:

I have Bora slip on spacers, hub and aftermarket wheel centric, with new extended lugs, on my front. The widest they allow to order through their website is 13mm, which is little over 1/2".
Minimum width on bolt on is 3/4" which I have on my rear.

I ended up with 3/4 spacers with lugs. The stock lug studs stick past the surface, but my Method wheels have clearance.
