3.4 swapped 95 4runner 4x4 5speed

Hi I have a 1995 4runner 3.4 swapped 5spd 4x4. Great for a crawler build. Engine has 115k miles on it, body has 280k. Transmission feels great, no pop outs, grinds, etc, brand new clutch with the swap. I’ve put very little miles on it since the swap, just driving around on trails and such. Has a k&n cold air intake other than that all stock motor, just replaced plugs and wires, valve cover gasket is new also so no leaky valve cover. Everything else is also all stock, wheels are from a newer tacoma. Hanneman fiberglass hood to clean the 5vz. Everything in the interior works, all gauges work, etc. body is a little beat up but interior is clean, clean title in my name, has smog for the next 90 days. Currently registered until December.

The brake pedal gets firm, for that reason I don't feel comfortable with anyone driving it far and it will need to be towed if you're going anywhere out of town. It needs a new o2 sensor and new bung welded in because where it's currently at it was hitting the frame and shorted out, hood pins need to be mounted and the exhaust is cut after the 2nd cat so it could use a muffler. I would like to get 2800 for it considering those issues. I have much more into the swap.

 

I noticed you're in California. Did you have to bring this to the BAR to get the engine swap approved?

 

I didn't. Had my smog guy do it. It has an aftermarket crossover pipe to convert it from passenger drop to driver so it will not pass in ca.
