Recently Rebuilt by previous owner at High Speed Lab approx 15,000 miles on it.

    What's included:
    Trd black supercharger
    Dynamic tensioner / hardware
    2 belts
    New and used bypass valves
    Snout support bracket
    Viton snout rebuild kit
    Timing cover w/smog sticker
    Dipstick relocation bracket
    Paperwork from rebuild

    What's missing:
Check valve, very cheap and easy to replace, I've included the part number so you can reorder.

    What else you might need:
    Colder range spark plugs
    Vacuum hose or T fittings
    Wide band
    Aem Fic or 7th injector

    I purchased this from someone on this forum 20200304_182608.jpg 20200304_182620.jpg 20200304_182629.jpg 20200304_182643.jpg 20200304_182707.jpg 20200304_182758.jpg 20200305_124713.jpg 20200305_124722.jpg
20191101_162331.jpg who said they couldn't afford the fuel mods. I used a Fic6 on my truck with this SC with great results. Without fuel and timing mods the truck ran lean and would ping. I pulled timing and added fuel in part throttle map and picked up so much torque and no ping. I highly recommend the Fic6.

The previous owner put a new Trd snout on (noted in paperwork) but it leaked out the front seal a little (a known problem on some of them for some reason). I just periodically topped off the oil, it never ran low. I have a new Viton snout rebuild kit from RollingPerformance.com included.

I am now running a turbo and no longer need the SC.

$2200 plus shipping and PayPal fee.

Haha maybe so. The last one I had to sell because work was slow. This one I dont have to sell, but no point in letting it just sit. @Dalandser

the question is, why do these superchargers always come off? People getting rid of the truck? I think people install them and aren't quite happy with the $ to HP gains.........

You MUST fuel it! They are awesome when properly fueled. The part throttle torque is impressive, don't even need to go Wot most of the time. Yes they are kinda spendy, and require the fuel kit, but a turbo needs that too and it doesn't bolt on in a couple hours.
My truck is just turbo now, but I'm wanting to go back to twin charged sooo bad. Az summer is brutal, so I'm waiting until the heat dies down to play that game again.

it the urd 7th injector still the way to go? Is there a "boxed" solution to fueling? i.e. so and so injectors, tune, etc? Methanol injection only?

7th is good for a boxed solution.

    Another route is..
    190lph fuel pump
    Is300 320cc injectors
    Aem Fic

Meth is another story. It is awesome for Wot pulls, but, not so good for part throttle (where most of the driving is done) You need a nice progressive kit Imo.

The problem is, the ignition timing table is calculated from knock sensor readings above 3000rpm. The knock sensors are off when below 3k. So, if you do a lead foot pull to redline with meth (which is awesome for guarding against detention) the computer sees no knock and advances the timing. The computer is always trying to advance timing, until is sees knock then dials it back a hair. So after you do the fun pulls with meth and go back to "normal" driving, the computer has advanced timing in the area below 3000rpm thinking that there will be no knock. You basically lied to the computer. It basically thinks you are running 118 octane fuel and it can advance all the timing it wants.

Now I know people get away with meth kits, maybe they are ignorant, maybe they live in cold weather climate, maybe other stuff. For me, when I put the blower on, I noticed ping right away at part throttle boost. I pulled timing with the Fic and it has been gone since. I've run 12psi twin charged on a stock block with no knock, 91 octane.

You could try moving that factory computer, or try to mount up high behind glove box maybe? It could also go above steering column. Just don't put it in the engine bay.

There is room in the driver side kick panel, that's where I moved my aftermarket alarm control to.
