It pains me to do this but I have for sale a 1st gen 3.4 TRD supercharger for sale off my 99. I bought the truck as a project and split the cost with another guy who wanted the SC but he had to bail and I need to recoup the funds I fronted. The SC runs great and pulls super hard, but I can't swing the expense at this time.

    What comes with it:
1st gen (tan) supercharger (nose cone rebuild 5k ago)
    Static tensioner
    All mounting bolts to install
    Used SC belt
Set of 6 NGK 2 step colder spark plugs
Black Face TRD Boost Gauge and black gauge pod
TRD fuel management system (not 7th injector but the old fuel rail system, probably should be left out of install but up to you)
    Used O Throttle gasket
Some tubing for routing air lines
    Auto trans/Throttle bracket

Located in Santa Cruz, CA and looking for $1600 shipped plus 3% PayPal fees obo for everything.

    SOLD!!!

I won't separate the boost gauge at this time. All that is recommended is a IAC check valve which Magnuson should have.

Trd fuel rail? Never heard of that. What's it supposed to do?

If you consider separating the boost gauge I call dibs. Looks like you get to keep the oh shit handle with that pod?

keep in mind, the 4runner interior tan is a different shade than the tacoma interior tan.

It's an outdated fuel management system TRD used with the first superchargers. I'm not entirely sure how it works either but I think they scrapped it when they released the TRD 7th injector. Almost want to keep it just for the novelty of it. I'm going to look into it more today and how to properly remove it as I wasn't going to pull gas lines at 12 last night.

You would be second in line, but I'm going to keep it together. Yeah it's pretty low profile for a pod and nice to keep the handle.

    Pm incoming.

Thanks! Tried to price it rarely especially since it's a complete set and has the rare boost gauge.

The pillar is staying with me, just the pod will be shipped. Also I don't think they are the same in 4runner's and Tacoma's.

This is on my future to-do list. Unfortunately it is to far down the list to buy and store... Should go fast though. Free bump and GLWS

I honestly didn't think it would sell that quick, last 1st gen SC I sold took a couple weeks and was completely rebuilt from top to bottom and around the same asking price. I guess that boost gauge sweetened the pot a bit.

It's bittersweet for me. On one hand, now I don't have to sweat over if I should buy it or not, but I missed out on a great deal. Glad it moved quick for ya.

Trust me, it hurt pulling it last night. I'm glad it's gone now so I don't have to debate putting it back on after I finish my valve cover gasket replacement. Wish I could have kept it, but it would have been very unresponsible of me and it would sit there on my "trail rig" rather than being driven daily.

Looks like the old trd kit just used a fmu (silver thing in pic from OP) in an attempt to increase the fuel pressure. Similar to the vortex and Paxton SC kits for other vehicles.
