Going to look at a runner in the morning with the factory trd supercharger. It appears to have came factory with the charger. The runner has 150k miles. Doesn’t sound like it’s been rebuilt or seen any maintenance at least in the last few years.

I’m mostly interested in the supercharger for my 3.4 single cab(97). I know in tip top shape, recent maintenance and work and usually a few goodies the supercharger alone can fetch 2,000 or more. What’s a realistic value on the supercharger alone, assuming it would need rebuilt. Trying to think ahead before I jump into a money pit.

1st of all, is it the grey 1st gen supercharger?

It probably will need a full rebuild and that’s 1000.00.

A used one will sell for 1000 -2500 depending on gen and condition and parts if complete.

    You have a 1996 v6?
The ECU IS NOT compatible with the supercharger so you will have to change the ECU to a 1997 forward
ECU that has you same opinion, 5 speed, v6, etc

1997 reg cab V6 ECU is compatible and has a different ECU number, 1995.5-1996 is not.

The real price depends on just how bad the buyer can`t live without having one !

my signature needs updating. I have the 97 v6.

I ended up giving 2200 for the whole rig. 150k mile 2000 4rumner. 4wd. Frame was good, little crusty undercoating but no holes. Wheel bearings in the front shot and rear axle seal leak.

He didn’t know what he had I don’t think. Wasn’t car savvy in the slightest. Not sure how he scored a supercharger to begin with.
