    My Fic6 works perfectly.

It has a brand new wire harness.

Sorry @TacoBike been away from the forum for a while.

Yeah can't think of much to add. I looked into it a lot because of the insane lego-ability of it with this particular platform, and the electronics challenge to make the S/C bypass at the right times. Others have mentioned (and I got to see for myself once I made my S/C bypass) that the S/C bypass can't bypass all of the air as RPMs climb, its diameter was just made big enough for low load bypassing.

I agree with people saying its pointless- but as someone else mentioned in this thread, the engineering challenge is what entices some. We have so many things in our lives we don't need, but we do it anyhow. Flagship phone but do things a 4a can do with ease? Yep. 3500 sq foot house for empty nesters... yep. etc etc. In all my automotive hobbyist days I did not see an opportunity like this come a long so easily- TRD bolt-on S/C in the OEM intake manifold location. CXRacing turbo kit at an insanely affordable price for what it is. Great piggybacks that left MAF based enrichment far behind.

@Jon64l, my God that manifold is art. And so tasteful to recirc the wastegate.

So my main issue would be getting the turbo boost to not be blown off from the super charger ?

Definitely a very fun project that may get more attention someday, perhaps one day I shall. But for now I finished my researching I was trying to do. I still believe it has its place, but is less applicable to the regular person.

Okay guys ordering more shit tomorrow, as for injectors is 325cc good I was ordering direct fits of lce performance with the urd fuel pump. Got the aem fic 6 from @Jon64l and until I decide if I wanna run a turbo I was gonna order a 2.1 pulley for some more boost. Probably gonna pay for a dyno since I’m not too good with tunes and my buddy is unfamiliar with the software on aem

At that point you'd been money ahead (by alot!) if you'd dropped in an LS motor. More power, reliability and overall better drivability.

@Jon64l if I was ever swapping I’d be looking for a 1.5 Jz. Gotta stay with Toyota man

The 325cc will be enough for a stock SC setup, maybe a 2.2 pulley. Wont be enough for twin charged, probably not enough for 2.1.
My stock injectors were maxed out at around 4200rpm with a stock SC. Kept adding duty cycle with no change in afr. I've been using 440cc injectors since then.

It is a Walbro pump as far as I remember. They do work, but I upgraded to a Aem. Only buy from a authorized dealer, there are countless counterfeit fuel pumps of all brands out there.

Personally I'd avoid Walbro pumps, the Aeromotive 340 works well and isn't loud

Thanks guys I’m gonna order the parts after work today . So question I know I put in my tuner before the injectors and pump . Do I need to input anything into it or can I just drive it to a shop with all the new stuff in and they can tune it ?

    1. Determine if you have Narrow or Wide band factory O2 sensors.

    2. Download Ecu pinout for your vehicle year or order Boomslang harness.

    3. Always disconnect batter before doing any electrical related work.

    4. Carefully plan out and install Aem wire harness. Only use soldier connections, no butt connectors.

    5. Test your wiring by using the Aem patch harness. Truck should run like stock.

    6. Install Aem software from their website onto your computer.

    7. Flash the Fic with latest firmware version. Follow the instructions exactly. You will need a paperclip to push the micro switch when prompted. You technically should already be good since I did this before sending it to you.

    8. Disconnect Fic.

    9. Open Aem software. Open File. Open basecal. Save New. New name 12345 or whatever. Close.

    10. Open 12345. Connect USB cable to Fic. Click Connect icon. Window will say file doesn't match. Send to or copy from Fic? You want to copy. This will import that last info on the Fic I left and get you started quicker.

    11. Click Guage Icon. It should now actively display your local ambient air pressure on the Load Guage. Go ahead and gently blow on the boost port on the Fic and watch the Guage change. This is the internal Map sensor working. My local pressure is 14.2, anything over this is considered boost. Yours may be different.

    12. Save as.

    13. Of your wiring tested good and you have again Disconnected the battery, you can now plug in the Fic. You will need to safely run a vac/pressure line from the intake manifold to the Fic. Make sure this line is connected behind the throttle plate to reference vacuum and pressure.

    14. Connect battery.

    15. Open Software. Click Calibrated Tps. Follow instructions.

    16. Start vehicle.

    17. Calibrate Rpm. Follow instructions.

    18. Open fuel map. Open Ignition map. Open Guages. The cursor will now follow the rpm and load cells that you are currently in. Hint: Don't pull any timing near your Idle cells, truck won't start.

    19. You will need to reconfigure the O2 setup. Mine was Narrow Band so its set for that. If you are wideband it will be different.

    20. Lots of good fic videos on YouTube

    21. Don't forget to wire in a aftermarket wide band sensor, like the Aem Uego or Innovate. Most should have a analog wire you hook up to the Fic. You then input the voltage/afr values from its instruction book into the appropriate table in the Fic. Now you can view and log Afr at all load and rpm points. This is very helpful for closed and open loop tuning.
