TacomaWorld I need your help. I’m replacing my timing belt and seals and all the pullies and stuff. I need to know if anyone has used a gear puller for the crankshaft gear right behind the harmonic balancer and if so what size bolt did you use? Im looking at a universal gear pullers and just want to make sure they have the right size bolts and thread pitch for the inserts to get the gear off. Any help will be appreciated! Y’all are awesome.

I found this when searching for the SST number it's a "universal" set. The holes in the timing gear look like m8x1.25 to me, those gears usually aren't all that tight on the crank.

You guys rock! BigAl and Dm93. I have a puller that can in a seal remover/installer kit I bough so all I need is to go to Lowe’s and get the two bolts. You guys rock seriously! Saved me time and money.
