Indeed. I'm still baffled by how so many Denso components could come off a car (MAF, fuel pump, front o2 sensor) and have NO direct link to them ever being appropriate for a 3.4L Tacoma/4Runner. Why would you go through the expense of using top notch components for the wrong vehicle?

It makes me wonder if they were used originally by Toyota over seas for a little bit, then later the same parts were used by other manufacturers... but you'd think there'd be SOMETHING to be found on the entire internet linking the part to these trucks. Also that'd mean the front o2 sensor, MAF, and fuel pump all had 256,000 miles on them...

Beats me. One thing that I've noticed in my two drives since replacing the sensor last night:

In Torque app, my RPM digital display would have a +- 30 rpm fluctuation every time the sensor refreshed, which is like every .1 seconds. This wasn't even detectible on the tachometer in the gauge cluster. I thought it was a Torque inaccuracy, or that this was normal behavior.

My idle fluctuation is +- 3 rpm now. Three.

I also didn't realize how much racket my engine was making for yearssss until I hit the highway last night. Now I realize how loud my duratracs have become, hah.
