Under certain engine loads the stock fuel system isn't able to provide enough fuel for efficient combustion. This leads to a lean misfire or ping. If the URD 7th injector kit comes with a smaller s/c pulley it would increase the boost.

This is important I think. If you were at sea level, the stock fuel system probably would create potential damage to your engine from running lean all of the time. At least this is what I've read.

Im pretty sure the s/c is meant to be run on the stock fuel system. Granted it's not optimized, I don't think there is anything catastrophic that could occur. As for the 7th, the claim is the added fuel through the s/c creates a better seal between lobes and recovers lost boost. Sounds reasonable to me.

Is it the exact same s/c as before or will it be stronger since there's not a Toyota warranty on it?

I would bet it's identical except for the lack of the TRD logo. There's probably not a whole lot they can change without engineering a new design.

The 7th injector adds more fuel during boost to eliminate the dreaded ping.

If it was $2000 or less I'd buy it but I just can't justify $3000.

I agree. $3k for 65-70hp gain.......not worth it. 120-150hp gain or $1000-$1250 cheaper? Yeah I would by one instantly.

    Check out my build
LCE has had a couple 3RZ superchargers listed for a long time. Low and high boost versions.
