    In my search to find wheels with less backspacing, I came across these:

    - Raceline 887 Rockcrusher 16x8 with 3.625" backspacing

    - Eagle Alloy 100 16x8 with 3.625" backspacing

    - Raceline RT81 17x9.5 with 3.5" backspacing - but these steel wheels are about 50 lbs and the beadlocks only recommend up to 25 psi - otherwise I would have bought these.

    I still haven't found a set of wheels to buy so does anyone know about the Raceline 887s or Eagle Alloy 100s?

    really? you mean offroad right? cuz offroad i run like 20 upfront and 17ish rear, on the road i run 28 front and 24 rear, do you have beadlocks? ive always wanted to know how low i can run them so explain please:D

    25 psi is the max according to the manufacturer. Any lower (10-12) is probably even better. Why does the wheel manufacturer have a max psi anyway? - i'd only think they would have a minimum.

    ohh so its safe to run them down to 10 and 12 psi offroad or only dunes? and i have 285s wud that make a difference? sorry to thread jack dude itll be done in prob one more post:D lol

    Yes, they are safe to run down to 10-12 psi anywhere. But the RT81's arent supposed to go ABOVE 25 psi because of the beadlock. I still dont know why.

    because driving on the hwy my psi is usually around 40 psi, I think.

    oh okay sweet ill keep that in mind next time i offroad!
    yeah thats strange, but wouldnt the ride be more comfortable if your under that limit and im sure it handles better, but from a technical stand point im not sure at all, someone should know, i wanna know as well:eek:

    I have only done it in sand! Lol but I've driven probly 10 miles with a fully loaded trailer on the street with 10 psi tires

    would driving with 25 psi with the Raceline RT81s kill my mpg? I'd think that lower psi = bad gas mileage.

    nah im not a dealer, we just have a deal/contract of some sort with 4WP and get prices for cheaper than retail, im not sure how it got started in our family but it did and im not complaning:p so as you can see in my sig im just hookin guys up if they need anything:)
