so lately I've been planning what to do with my truck, I'll spare you the exact plans. I just want to know if anyone is running a 3.5" per side long travel without glass fenders. Just want to see the look. I've decided I'm going to run either a 2 or 3.5 LT, but I'm not a huge fan of glass fenders or the price

I have +2 TC LT with trimmed stock fenders. There are actually quite a few with this setup. I am going to 37's so I will be going with glass fenders when I do. For now though, the 35's with stock fenders works just fine.

I love that truck. do you think that if the tires stuck out an extra 1.5 inch per side it would look weird? My plan was to cut the fenders like yours and move up to 37s as well.

Also with the 37s will you regear to 4.88?

I don't think it would look weird. Just know that without a fender covering the tires, water and mud go EVERYWHERE. Like in your window if the window is rolled down, even at slow speeds. I would just like to avoid that if at all possible so the larger fenders will help.

My diffs are already at 4.88

    Thanks for the info.
With 37s do you think 4.88 or 5.13 gears will work better? Mines probably about the same weight as yours with the bumpers and extra stuffimage.jpg

Yea it does but I don't think it looks to bad. And 4.88s are great for 37s. I'm running 4.56 and don't have to much of an issue.

Doesn't look bad at all, what is the backspacing on those rims?

3.5 I believe and not sure of the offset. I'm also running a 1/4" spacer so my wheels clear my calipers.

Are you going to be selling the fenders on your truck when you move to glass?

Hate to revive an older thread but thought of all people you may know @MrGrimm . You have a plan on the snorkel with the glass? Looking to go to glass with a 3.5LT but want to add a snorkel as there is A LOT of water here on the east coast:annoyed: Haven't had much luck finding anything that anyone has done for snorkels on glass that looks good...

If you get the LT first can you post some more pics here with the 3.5 and stock fenders?

I would but doubting that will happen... will have to see. Guy near me is selling 3.5' total chaos kit and kings for $3500 which is what I'm really considering but didn't wanna go that wide, trails around here are already narrow enough! Was hoping for a 2' kit but that price is so tempting... If I do I will post them up for sure though:thumbsup:

What are you using your build for @Oreo Cat ? Don't guess stock cut fenders with bushwackers and slightly limited up travel would be an option would they? Think LT without glass will be a bit too much but that's just me

Right now I have the Old man emu lift, but I'm not sure what long travel I'm going to use. Either the +2 or 3.5 TC long travel. But as far as fenders go I was just going to cut the really short like mr grim.
I bet if the bushwhackers would work if cut short enough
