What was the speed recorded on your ticket, if I may ask?

76 in a 55 on lidar, just coming off the HOV where speed limit is 65 then it drops to 55. I hadn't slowed yet and likely thought I was doing 70 in the HOV. It was a Saturday afternoon, clear day and no traffic, five lane section of highway.

Thanks, I don't dispute that I was speeding but 20 mph over posted is an automatic reckless driving charge in VA, 11 yrs on the record and 6 pts on the licence, as bad as a first time dui conviction.

Simple speeding is alot less of a ding to my record, first ticket since 1995.

That new f-150 ecoboost 2.7 twin turbo has some crazy numbers for a pickup, 325hp, 380torque, 0-60 in 5.6, and 23mpg average between city and highway. I've had tacomas all my life but toyota needs a better engine design. My 12 double cab long bed 4x4 gets 17 on average and my friends with full size trucks are getting better gas mileage and they are 4x4 also so this makes ponder a new make in the future.

I would like to see a Tacoma go from 0 - 60 in 6.8 seconds. A stock Tacoma.

Motor trend got 6.2s for the 3.5ecoboost and 6.5s for the 2.7 and 15.1 for the 1/4 mile. So at their test site, the 2.7 f150 beats the Tacoma by .3s to 60 and .1s in the 1/4 mile....

The manual Tacoma is a whole different can of worms and would beat up the 2.7 Eco

All it does is solidify that he was speeding. I thought I was doing 70 but it was actually 76, in a 55mph zone. But, a decent officer may choice to amend the ticket to a fix it ticket since he got it calibrated.

look at the black bar with the model if it was 4x4 it would have said it, also the epa mpg stats for the sr5 is 19\24\21 this alone says it's a 2wd.
