Below are the older part numbers, the Tacoma springs have a -TC at the end. As far as I can tell they are the same still. Same spring rates and heights. The Cs are the “heavy” ones though they are only a bit shorter than the Bs. All three have the same diameter, just different lengths. I suspect that the Cs are higher rated than the Bs since they are slightly shorter but I’m no expert.

    Hope this helps.

    Front coils:
    TOY065A - Performance Load
    Free Height: 390 mm
    Spring Rate: 720 lb/in
    TOY065B - Performance Load
    Free Height: 382 mm
    Spring Rate: 827 lb/in
    TOY065C - Constant Load
    Free Height: 380 mm
    Spring Rate: 827 lb/in

Just an update, my experiment failed. The 650# springs and the IM didn’t end up working well. Went on a longer drive yesterday and by the time I was done, the front was resting on the bump stops. I swapped back to the A springs this morning.

Have you taken a look at the tundra foam cells? Last year they had a bad batch of springs which resulted in them being bowed and then the springs were making contact with the shock body.

Ironman came out with these black springs for the tundra, And I think the collars are flat and the spring bottoms are flat and I believe they are 580some pounds.

That’s pretty cool to hear, thanks for sharing! I’ll need to check them out but there is no way I’ll be able to buy new springs unless the ones I have break. Wife would kill me lol.

Great write up. Ordered the Stage 2 lift kit end of May and waiting to receive it. How long did it take to get your order?

Thanks! When I bought a few years ago it only took about a week.

Since you ordered the stage 2, did you see they have a recall on the UCAs? I’d guess they will not be sending those out but hopefully they’ll send the rest of your kit out.

I only found out about the recall through your answer and then researched it and called Ironman. Yes they are holding my order until things get resolved. It could be days to weeks, not sure. Hopefully soon and glad the recall happened before my order shipped.

did they offer to send you everything but the UCAs? Maybe they could refund you those and find another brand. I’ve got SPC and have been happy with them… thinking about it they need to be greased…
If you are not getting huge tires for a whole, that shouldn’t be an issue to wait on the UCAs either. Just a thought.

I originally placed my order 11/25/22, 245 days ago. I'm still chasing them for some parts of my order. It's certainly been a frustrating time. They originally sent my kit to the wrong city, I informed them, but they did not contact the couriers to correct the address. Everything was returned to sender before they would send out another kit.

I received everything in the suspension kit about a month later including a rear shock with corrosion around the main seal. I contacted Ironman support and they said it was cool that there was corrosion because the shock is coated in some anti-corrosive paint, a curious response for sure. Another email thread and sometime later, a replacement shock arrives, and it's missing a bump stop.

Missing from the order were the Reco-Traks which were free as part of the promotion, those just arrived 6/23/23, but were distinctly missing the leashes that the packaging say are included. Another email sent into the abyss, then another, then another, two weeks later a response saying they'll be sent out asap. Here we are 15 days later, and the only thing I've received is an automated email survey asking how the service was...

Now with this ball joint recall, I'm just hoping my Ironman saga will be wrapped up in less than 365 days. At the current pace, it is unlikely.

I want to say my experience is an anomaly since most people have nice things to say, but it really has been a nightmare. If I was considering the opportunity cost, I've probably spent enough to have a long travel Kings setup by now.

That is lame service! Both you and Ironman have spent enough time/money to offset the cost of a King set up.

Just received notification my FOAM CELL PRO SUSPENSION LIFT KIT SUITED FOR 2005+ TOYOTA TACOMA - STAGE 2 has shipped and I have a tracking number. I decided to cancel the UCA's and was reimbursed the cost.
Would like to get input on best UCA to go with this lift kit. Thanks

Great to hear! I’ve had the SPC uppers on mine and have been happy with them. They now have a sealed ball joint so no more greasing, if that’s important to you. There are some threads about the other UCAs around here as well. Lots of opinions. I liked the idea of adjustability at the ball joint. They are or at least were mid priced, not sure about that anymore though.

I installed mine about a month and a week ago and put around just a short of 2000 miles.
I'm curious if anyone else has an issue with the brake cable line rubbing + leaf pack bolt rusting. Picture referenced. The cable is starting to show wear already and I'm getting concerned with more severe wear as I go offroad + winter approaches.
    IMG_3304.jpg IMG_3305.jpg

And, this is how my leaf pack is sitting after the install + with my camper installed now (roughly 270lbs)
Is this how it should sit normal? or Do I need to go with heavier/stiffer pack?
    I'm currently on Medium Load.

Try the online chat thing on Monday. I’m surprised they’ve not gotten back.

Does your e brake cable have the stand off?

When I've called them the only day they would answer the phone was mid-day Thursday. The phone prompt of ordering a parts gets better responses than the prompt of questions about your order.

It looks like the bolt head is facing in a different direction from mine when I look at your first picture.
I wonder if that's the cause of this wear..
