Just recieved my 5100's from Suspension Connection and they have the thin black seat also. Still debating on the OME 884's since the Eibach is out of stock everywhere. If I go with the 884, can the 5100 be set at the .85 setting without any issues? Will have the LR UCA's installed also.

    Thx

^^^ If you want the 884's set at .85, i would suggest just getting the 885' there the same as the 884's but longer, so no need to put at .85
    just my .02

Want to keep the lift below the 2.5" mark..won't the 885's push it closer to the 3" mark?

    Thx

yes but the 884's at .85 will probably give you over three. Just a guess it seems like some get a little over two with the 884's at 0. the 884's at .85 will probably sit higher than the 885's at zero, not 100% sure on that maybe soemone who knows more will chime in.

I am beating my head on the wall about the 884 vs 885 question.
My main concern for the front is to not have CV issues. I have the TSB done on the back and have the 1.5 AAL sitting here in a box waiting.

If I went with the 885, I already will be installing the LR UCA's, just beating my head up on whether this would be bad on the CV's.

Will be riding on MotoMetal 955 w/BFG TA KO 275/70/17 when all is done.

    What to do???

DON'T SET 5100's AT .85 AND RUN OME COILS! That's bad stuff waiting to happen.

    I won't...heard good thru here.
Just debating between the 885 and 884.
Will the 885 put to much stress on the front joints?
Worried the 884 won't be enough lift and 885 will be to much...ughh.

    Thx

needs to be a 884.5 huh?

maybe its the 884x versions that are giving or maintaining the slightly higher lift.

The x denotes that they are the updated springs which don't sag so fast.

what about eibach 620 coil set at .85? that wil be close to 2.5". Maybe that is some thing you should consider. I am - unless I go ahead and pay for CO's! ---- EDIT --- I just read back and it sounds like Eibach's are not avail now. Well hopefully they will be avaiable in a couple of months.

Check the pic in this thread. To me it looks like the 5100 would set the spring higher thus giving more lift?!
