Any good tips on how. Haha. Besides the new C4 fender liner for 3rd gen.

Any other firsthand experiential details? Adverse effect to on-road driving with what seems to be the reduced ability to fine tune your alignment?
    Thanks in advance.

Just saw this pop up on IG. 3” kit and 35’s no rubbing. For those of you that want to seal up the wheel wells after removing the liners. It’s a bit pricey though.

Oops. Just saw this mentioned a couple posts up. Don’t if it’s actually been talked about though.

I’ve read reports of 35s rubbing with the fender liners removed. How does a aftermarket fender liner result in no rubbing? What am I missing?

Looks like you remove the liners, cut the fenders, cut the flares, move cab mount.

Ok, but how do the new fender liners remove the need to tub the wheel well?

    Magic?

Probably it just eliminates most of it. For 99% of third gen owners that’s probably enough.

Perhaps in the fine print it says some tubbing might be required.

I edited my post with a better answer. I’m guessing it just gets rid of most of the rubbing which is probably good enough for most third gen owners.

Most people will still rub the inner fender, especially by the battery.
The kit does include a cab mount relocate, that takes away the majority of rubbing. But you will still need a good alignment and bumpstop spacers to eliminate all rubbing. Either that or you tub the fenderwells.

The C4 kit looks good but, it will not do anything without a ton of cutting. Look at the before and after. The fender is cut and so is the fender liner. It all needs to be moved back towards the cab.

The easiest way is a snorkel, or make your own cowl intake with some tubbing.

were not there. so. gona have to post some detailed pics of suspension.

to check gear ratio jack rear end off the ground and count driveshaft rotations per one wheel rotation. count for 2 rotations if only one tire spins
