Fully stuffed straight ahead and fully stuffed turned are two totally different things.

Example. Mine fully stuffed with 37’s zero rub. However I can’t even fully lock the wheels (well one way) on pavement. :D

That’s more like it! It’s how I did it. And I’m pretty sure how @90yota did it too. As long as you mind cutting the front fenders (which are replaceable) and hammering a couple things it not bad. Well the cmc obviously.

Corey from @InSainFab hooked me up. Did the CMC, flattened the pinch weld, cut the inside fender liner and moved and remolded with torch..awesome guy and awesome work.

Cut the cab mount as far as it can be cut and don’t plate it.

If you don't plate the cmc, make sure it doesn't have sharp edges. Otherwise, it will mess up your tire big time. Don't ask how I know.

Don’t plate it? Will it not affect structural rigidity? Asking for a friend.

It will not affect structural rigidity at all. The plates are purely vanity.

I did plate it. At first I didn't, but then it was messing up my tire. So, I end up plating it. I'm glad I did because it still rubs the plate and doesn't affect the tire. . Also, you can only chop off the cab mount so far. Unless you don't care about that little hole for changing the mount. In that case you will never be able to replace the mount.

That's what I thought too since mount is plenty strong, but then does it hurt to put the plate on? That's why I end up putting it up and above reasons I mentioned.
