Yup, major camber will cause a pull but at that point, you have something else wrong haha!

Yes, common thing. I hate when cars don't have any adjustments for camber/caster. Frustrating.

that's great you have a good ride with those numbers. The only thing wrong with stock UCA's is the ball joints will fail quick if your running some of the different type of lifts. two many different set ups to break them all down. Im sure the master tech already knows this. its easy to check jack up the truck, at full droop look at the ball joints on the UCA. are they rubbing the coils? How dose the angle look? if your good then great, also if your not rubbing the cab mount when backing up at a turn awesome. all trucks can very and 3rd gens are a little different then 2gens. bla bla bla this subject has been beat to death on many forums.
    all that being said
what set up are you running? it might help to share that as well with your numbers, others might want to do the same. Them 3rd geners need a lot of help from what I heard.

It is all in the OP,no rubbing and plenty of clearance with ball joint/coil.

Actually it's quite the opposite. I was :boink: at you because you used the stock car/drag as an example in your wording. Which are a total different animal than a lifted truck.

What I paid the company and what my alignment tech actually got from that $80 is also a totally different thing. He got his hourly wage which is no where near what I paid which is unfortunate. Unknowingly to you I do respect the older guy that did mine and also the reason I went there. Because I knew he knew his shit and also knew how to adjust the UCA's I have because they are a dealer for them. He also commented to me on how he wished everyone that lifted their truck would use them because it makes his job so much easier by not having to max out the adjustments to get the truck aligned correctly.

I agree with you on the newer generation not giving a shit and not having the knowledge that the older guys have. However the new guy there now learned under my alignment guy and does care about his work. I gave him a chance to see if he could do it. Which this company isn't going to have a guy that half ass does his job. They do way too much work in the offroad and commercial industry to have someone that doesn't care or has trucks coming back to get their alignments redone.

Yes you can get an acceptable alignment but not ideal. I'm in the crowd of do it right the first time and not have to mess with it again later.

As far as being a medic I'm not in it for the kudos. I enjoy what I do helping people but even then they are a constant pain in the ass now a days. No one seems to realize that a ER isn't your personal doctor. I didn't get into it to get rich and never will be. Before I was a medic I was a cabinetmaker and learned from the old school guys on how to build cabinets. Then everything went to bang together crap that a monkey with a rubber mallet could do. So then the older guys got to keep making the really nice stuff for the customers that paid out the ass for nice work and the rest of the shop made the bang together crap that could be poured out. I decided then it wasn't for me and decided to change careers. They found out I was going to school for something else and laid me off along with the other guys that weren't making minimum wage. When places like that start accepting shit workers then ypu get shit results. Point is a lot of the companies don't want people with skills anymore. They want a warm body that can make them more money by paying a cheaper wage.

You're kinda new here so you don't see my sarcasm like many do here. So I apologize if you thought I was being disrespectful of your career or knowledge. You also have to know we have had a lot of shade tree mechanics come in here claiming all kinds of crap too.

Also, just to throw this in there...I'm over 4degree caster on my truck, it has kept me from having any rubbing or having to do a CMC. Rides like a dream, unlike twitchy mctwitchy pants with the low caster.

Fair enough. And yes companies are starting to value bottom line more than they care about a quality product or service or their employee's and I think it is a shitty trend..

It def will, in less than 20 years the bubble will pop for most. Then they get to learn what starting from the "ground up" really means.

no way. all these hardworking older individuals are providing for me just fine (statistics say a higher percentage of millennials are working than any other generation btw).

I'm ready for people to realize centennials (generation starting in 1995) are the issue nowadays.
