Just what I needed to hear. Same setup. Needed to know if it could be done. Just did the "Beat the pinch weld like it owes you money" mod and made a lot more room. CMC done but a garbage job so need to grind it down a bit. Getting an alignment Thursday from a local 4x4 shop. Can't wait for my truck to stop changing lanes to the right by itself.

What does removing your inner fenders consist of?

Thank you for quoting me, reminded me to go take photos.

I simply have removed that bulky plastic liner under the fenders lol. Should be said I also have a custom hybrid front bumper so basically nothing in front of the tires.

Cool. Figured you were talking about the liners just wanted to verify and make sure there wasn't a new fender removal option I've been missing out on.

I would first see if you can get someone to remove the antenna on the top of the passenger fender first, people tend to remove this by seeing Toyota as they likely have the "key" for this. If not, then you can cut it in half like I had to.

Besides that, its pretty simple. You will unscrew all the bolts you can that hold the black liner to the fender. You will see push pins in there as well, if you are looking to remove permanently, then you can just pull the liner till they pop out. After removing the liner, continue to unscrew any bolts that you find are connected to the fender underneath. You will need to undo the bolt that attaches the front of the fender to the bottom of the headlight which will have to be accessed inside the bumper area. After that, pop up the hood and unbolt the bolts there as well as the doors to get the bolts in between the crevices. After that, you should be able to take the top area of the fender and then unhook it from the edge of the engine bay sides.

Thanks for the super explanation (I really mean that, not my usual sarcastic assholeish answer) but I cut all the stuff off my truck about five years ago when I put it on 35s with 2.5" of lift :D. Just wondering if there was some new shit peeps are doing.

Uh...I know the bumper portions are different...maybe check with an older second gen close to you and see if the main portion will fit?

bahaha. we don't have lottery in Alabama so I'd love the wealth spread around. I'm a for sure on going to Black Mountain so you'll get em if the other backs out (and assuming these fit). I won't be hurt if you don't buy from me, they're doing a great job keeping that dust collected in my garage.

Love mine, and love the fact that they come with OEM sealed bushing that you don't have to grease.

I know the dude pretty well, if there is anyone who can give you the real word on things it's likely him. He helped encourage my whole build and my love for the carne!!!

I gave up on it when OP said he had baby tires and didn't need UCAs to adjust them to clear.
