    What are the pros and cons of a 3" body lift?? Any suggestions or tips on how to install?

    If its 1" body lift your fine but anything more is junkand nothing but trouble

    ARB Bumper, SOS sliders, SOS rear bumper, SOS skid plate. OME Lift. Some other stuff.
    I had a 3 inch body lift on a Ford Ranger back in the early 90s. Installation was straight forward, remove the bolts jack up the body with a floor jack and insert spacers and new bolts, tighten.

    I would never do a body lift again. Never liked the way it exposed the frame, plus it made the inside of the engine compartment set lower. Also, the kit came with a spacer that went into the steering linkage to allow for the lift, steering was never right after that. Save your money and do it right with a suspension lift.
