In my area, we estimate topsoil at 75 lbs. per cubic foot or 2000 lbs. per cubic yard. Your bed holds about 33 cu. ft. or 1.2 cu. yds. to the top of the bed. It looks to me like you have a bit more than 1 yard in your truck and that puts you way over capacity.

I think so. I owned full size ½ ton trucks before the Tacoma, and a yard of topsoil would make them squat pretty good.

I know what you mean I put a load of mulch on a few weeks ago, there is a lot of palces for those little splinters to get caught. It is kind of a pain to clean out these beds. I think a good utility trailer is in my future.

The 4 leaf pack isn't a whole lot better than the 3 pack. A bed level load of firewood still sags down to the bump stops in my truck. The rear leaf spring TSB helps but it's no miracle to the fix.

From my past experiences, anything over .5 cubic yards is way too much weight for a truck this size. Trying to haul around a yard dirt is just going to wear out your leaf packs at an exponential rate.

Hell, my 2500HD has some serious leaf packs in the rear and it doesn't even like to haul a yard of dirt... Just some food for thought.

So adding what leaf pack will sort of eliminate the problem i just went to san antonio and i had about 2 full size coolers completely full a grill and couple of other bags and stuff with 5 passengers in my DC and my truck was sagging about this much too... note i only have 3 leafs in the back hence i dont think the tsb was ever performed on my truck i am thinking of adding a full leaf pack with maybe about 5 leafs would that solve my problem a little bit ? because i am looking into buying a mid sized rv to haul with my tacoma....
