    hello Tacoma world, i have an 04 prerunner that i love, that has been running rough, did the usual you tube for info & changed accouple things- plugs, valve cover gaskits coil rubber kit and nothing ! so i did what i never do and put it into a mechanic - #3 very low compression ( 70-80 ) said it looks bad and suggested replacing engine !!?? my immediate thought is "yeah right" but not a mechanic by trade - any thoughts or maybe questions i should ask him

    i have owned it since 2016 and have not had a valve adjustment, no oil consumption , ill ask about the leakdown test . Love this vehicle , had a 97 T100 untill I sold it before moving back to AZ at 428k also a bullet proof Toy - im a toyoter for life , thanks alot for the reply
