    okay my factory alarm on my 2006 double cab tacoma used to honk once when locked and twice when unlocked... now it locks with 3 LOUD honks... any answers?

    diff beep sequences mean diff things and should be in the manual

    Has this honking alarm been figured out?
    I have a 2006, which never honked locking or un-locking until I had a dying battery.
    I had a new battery installed and now after locking it honks once after 10 seconds.
    Cant figure how to turn it off.
    The flashing lights were enough for me.
