My 4cyl trd is factory geared at 4.56. That should be sufficiant for 33's, correct?

I've had the same question in mind...just hadn't gotten around to asking it yet. It's good to know a 3 inch lift and 31's wouldn't make my truck look to weird :D

Weird. We have the same setup yet for some reason, yours looks a bit taller than mine.

    265/70/16 on a 3" OME lift.
I really want to go with 33 bfg AT KO. Or TOYO open country MT. I just wish I knew for sure that they wouldn't rub that much. Not sure what my spacing is on my mb drive rims.

i have a 08 tacoma, it has 3" lift and 33" tire. They rub on normal 90 degree turns. I have not gone off road yet and dont want to mess up my fenders. Any suggestion? Am I gonna have to trim my fenders? (Its a Tuff Country 3" lift) Thanks for your time!

Ha, I was wondering what the lifts and tires would look like myself. I have to replace the rear leafs(all of them) and the front struts, so I thought I might as well lift it while it's torn down.
My son and I are going to share the truck so I want it to look good for him.

Nice looking trucks in this thread.

His is a '98, some of the older ones came with smaller tires. My '97 came with 225/75/15 tires. Tiny!

But yeah, I don't think there's any point to lifting it if its just going to have 31's on it.
