So I currently have some sort of level on my 2007 double cab SB Tacoma and it allows me to fit 33” tires on it but I would prefer to have “real” suspension for the off-roading that I do. I’m looking into putting Bilstein 5100s all around and doing the add a leaf system for the rear lift. I’ll also get a differential drop kit from toytec. I know toytec already has a whole kit with 5100s however since I don’t make a ton of money I’d rather buy the parts individually as it’s a little bit cheaper and more budget friendly in my case. I guess my main question is, is this all I need to lift the truck or do I need brake line extensions and other little things that I may be missing. Oh and what are some good affordable front coils that would fit this configuration?

Find some ome/headstrong/wheelers coils to give you a 2.5" lift. 3 is not recommended for 5100s

No brake lines needed until you go long travel, and you WILL go long travel you hear me

Oh I plan on it one day, just now getting started, and I feel like an idiot but what do you mean by 3 is not recommended for 5100s

3" lift isn't recommended for 5100s. You can do up to 2.5". Which is better to protect your CV angles as well. Don't forget you might need to do the ecgs bushing if the diff drop doesnt cut it

Good suspension doesn't usually fall into the "budget friendly" category. Just my .02
If you are in the market for a good suspension system that will ride amazing on-road and off-road a tuned mid-travel kit with Fox or King shocks is the way to go. We often get customers wishing they had waiting and bought "the good stuff", so just a something to think about when making the purchase.
