I dunno I think 31's look fine on a 1st go with a 3" lift, they have smaller bodys and doesnt look odd as opposed to a 2nd gen w/ 31's and a 3" lift.

I think what usually looks funny is when there is too much offset- the wheels and tires are shoved too far up inside the fenders.
I personally like the look of 31’s on a 3” lift and 33’s on a 6” lift- but I like the negative offset look- sticking outside the fender wells.

Truth be told if you're willing to cut the fenders and tub the firewall you can fit 35s or even 37s on a 3" lift. I'm working up the courage to cut for 35s next

I think the 31's on a 3" looks alright but idk. I like 33's better.

iirc, there's a guy running 35's on a (claimed) stock height. Obviously a LOT of cutting, but shows that no one actually "needs" a lift at all (for the most part), as long as you're proficient with a reciprocating saw...

I've been planning on some pizza cutters for a while (255/85's), but I've been binging a bunch of Dirt Everyday episodes lately , and caught myself thinking "35's aren't so big..." lol

2ish inch lift (5100's on stock coils, at 2.75 and toytec 2" AAL) when freshly installed on 31's. Looked alright, slightly "I skipped leg day" will be on 33's in a week or two though :sawzall:

Hahaha I won't be going past 33s on the IFS.

I have started acquiring parts for my SAS, including a 4.56 high pinion third with a Detroit and a Spidertrax 609 axle housing :bananadead:

I went the next size up on rims and tires from factory size. Had to get spacers, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs, Bilstein 5100 series shocks, Marlin Crawler clutch.
I have 265 75 16 on my 95' . I went with fierce attitude for the deep aggressive tread. They are 10 ply and made in America. They last a long time and are great in off road conditions. I am putting a 3" lift kit on it but someone on here said I should really get a CV joint angle kit to avoid any premature wearing on the CV joint. Is this a deffinate problem with the 3 lifts?second pic is where my tires are rubbing on the frame. Put 1.5 spacers on and the rubbing on frame is gone but rubs other places now far worse

Iirc those wheels have about 4.83" back spacing from the factory. With 1.5" spacers I'd imagine you'd need to trim the bumper, relocate the wiper bottle, and cut off the pinch weld

4.83 back spacing? What does that mean exactly.? Is this the pinch weld you are talking about? I don't like the way it rides now.
