sorry for this second post, but I'm just about ready to buy my lift. someone had suggested a 3 inch lift with bilsteins on toytec for $600 a reeaally long time ago, i looked it over and really like it, just looking for some opinions on it... it says on the site that it isn't recommended for 2.7s probably because of the weight, how much of a difference would it be with a 2.7? i dont wanna buy this kit and run into problems with it. also i don't have wheels and tires yet, thats next on the list, but would it look normal with stock 16 inch wheels and 265/70 tires? should i just buy it and keep it aside until i order the tires and wheels and just put it all on at once?
    forgot the link:

I have those coils on my extendedcab 4x4 v6, no armor or winch yet and it's definitely tall and can be bouncy.

I'd look into the ultimate kit and a 500 or 550 coil. Gives you the option to raise or lower the coil settings to adjust to the height that works best for you.

I just installed this kit on my 3.4L. The eibach coils have a spring rate that isn't suited for 2.7L's weight thats why they say that. Maybe go for the OME kit with the 881 coils instead? I've heard that kit is good too

I actually think you'll need 882's for your truck to get 3" of lift with no added weight. So if they don't have that option available then you'll have to buy the parts separately. I would call toytec and ask them if I were you. They were really helpful when I bought my stuff

Yep best thing is to call the company and have them tell you what they think is right. I bet they will set you up with some 881's or maybe 882's. The lower the number the less stiff the spring is.

I think you'd be good with just that kit. your going with the AAL right? If you choose to go with the Dakar leafs I would suggest piecing a kit together instead of getting the pre made kit.

i wasn't planning on getting new leaf springs, i was just gonna do the aal on stock leaf springs, ill call them sometime this week and see what they suggest. next step is black rock wheels on general grabber AT 2's but i don't even wanna think about the cost of that

I'm kind of in the same boat as you man, I've got a 2002 Tacoma XCab with a 2.7l and I'm shopping around for a lift because I need to replace all my shocks anyways and I'm getting s new frame so hoping to do it all in one swing. Let me know what you end up going with man.
