I can't believe i'm saying this, but if 500 is your budget and you will rarely take it off-road go for ToyTec's spacer and aal. If you just want the look, and not function, go for that.

I'm not to big on the spacers. I personally have heard good things about the procomp even though it's stiff.

Very noticeable height difference. Also running 285/70/18. I think its about perfect proportions.

if $500 is your budget I wouldn't go with spacers or pro comp. honestly try to save 1-200 more just get the billei 5100's and eibach coils to start out with. You can always upgrade down the road but it's something to get you at 2.5" or 3" if you add the top plate spacers. IMO, if I'm going to do something then I want the most out of my buck and get what I want in beginning. I say the eibach, billy combo cause that's what I plan on doing and later when I have more funds then I might add the Maxtrac spindles and upgrade the rear leafs.

i'm the same age as you and i got the procomp 3 inch lift with 33 inch nittos and i love how it rides on the road. i don't take my truck off-road hardly at all so idk how it rides off pavement but it's totally worth the money to me. way better than my old spacer lift imo.
