3 inch rough country lift

Hey everyone, new here to this website. Just got a 2009 tacoma and am wanting to get rid of the stock look. Was looking around and came across the rough country 3 inch lift. Anyone have this or have any advice on it? I don’t do extreme off-roading, just the occasional dirt road. Thanks in advance.

 

Should be good. Personally I wouldn’t go for it I would go Bilstein 5100 and call it a day. And a big welcome to TW

 

$300 bucks for hunks of metal you wedge between your stock coilovers and leaf springs with cheap rebranded maxtrac shocks that leaves you with less performance

or

$350 for 5100s that can give you 2.5" front lift with the option to go up to 1.5" in the rear in the future. Also contributes some performance.

If you want to go with spacers, then why buy rough country? Just buy whatever is cheapest on Amazon. It's literally a chunk of metal, brand or looks don't matter. Name brand offers no difference.

Well as I said, I’m new into this and am a college student, thus why I asked for advice because I have no real knowledge here. Of course i have heard of the name brand rough country before. But yes the 300$ caught my attention because I didn’t think it was incredibly too much, but thought it was enough to get a quality product. Thank you for your response .

 

No worries. Bilsteins aren’t that expensive. Contact @HeadStrong Off-Road they give good deals to members here. Get a quote from them an ask your questions before you you go buy a puck and block lift.
