Just stumbled across a 3 inch skyjacker kit on Craigslist for $200. Guy bought it it with no plans for his truck and then traded it in... So is $200 for a brand new kit worth it? I tried searching but couldn't find a lot of info on here about it other than people saying its not worth the $600 list price compared to other lifts...

    pics?

Skyjacker is not a company who's lift kit I would put on any Tacoma.

    93 Ford F-250? Sure, why not...2014 Tacoma TRD OR...no.

I figured there was a reason no one here was running skyjacker, that's why I asked before I forked over the cash. But it appears someone went for it because the ad disappeared over night...

Look at what the kit is comprised of. Add a leafs, u-bolts, and shocks. There's not much to it. So for me if the kit is cheaper than other brands I would consider it. One kit is not typically going to be way superior over another when it comes to add a leafs and u-bolts, they may even come from the same manufacturer. The shocks are what you are paying for. Skyjacker has been around awhile so they have some experience at it. If there were more tacoma specific front end parts involved such as ifs bracketry or steering components I would be a little more hesitant.
