Toytec Bilstein Adjustable lift. Bilsteins + 3 inch Eibach Coils + AAL in the back
Hey all, I am looking to lift my 2002 DC 4x4 with this lift kit:

    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/3-Lift-Kit-wOME-front-coils-and-rear-lift-options_p_239.html

The 3 inch lift kit with OME 881's up front (with top plate spacer), front diff drop kit, and 2 inch toytec AAL.

I know that this requires me to buy longer rear shocks to complete it. I am currently running on stock shocks (non trd package). I was wondering if all I need to buy to complete the 3 inch lift would be this lift package and longer rear shocks?

I am on a seriously tight budget at the moment and can only afford something of this price range.

    Any help is appreciated.

not sure if you need new shocks up front or not. You are right about the rear though you will definitely need new shocks to run those aal's

Do you recommend any extended rear shocks that will go well with this kit but cost on the lower end? (if any)

for the rear id say the most highly recommended shock for your price is the billy 5100's unfortunately that makes the price of your kit almost double.

Not trying to rain on the parade, but a spacer lift will eventually sag and wear your coils out. However, that aside, you may need a longer brake hose for your rear brakes with 3" of lift. I'm unsure of the front brakes hoses. You may need a carrier bearing drop bracket too to deal with driveline vibrations.

^i didn't need longer brake hoses on either side. But he is right get the axle shims with whatever else you get. I just learned the hard way and have to wait for them to be shipped now..

Can anyone recommend what the best 3 inch lift would be for my budget? I use my truck on trails, nothing major but more than a simple dirt road. I can't afford a full suspension system and new 33 inch tires. I want a 3 inch lift that will allow me to trim and fit 33 inch tires, but since tires are so expensive my lift needs to be on the cheap side. I will use it on trails, but it is more for looks, easier trails and mudding than hard core rock crawling.

3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.
The OME 881 coils are great, and the top plate spacers give the extra lift needed to acheive the full 3". You may need longer shocks for the front as well as the rear. Longer brake lines are not a necessity unless you plan on some decent flexing. These top plate spacers are not like "coil spacers", and theyre not very big.

Sounds awesome. I think I will be going with the 881 toytec package. Do you recommend any quality shocks for the front and rear that wont cost me a ton?

Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
Have you considered billy 5100s for your front lift and just get a cheap aal or lift shackles for the rear??

I have. I feel like I definitely want the full 3 inches of lift over the 2.5 so that I have less to trim to fit the 33's is my only concern.
