3 leaf aal and weight/ sag data from scales.

Today, I dumped wood construction debris (more volume than weight) totaling 340 pounds at our local transfer station. Weight in 4780 pounds. Weight out 4440 pounds. I have 3 plus one Toyota leaf packs with the three leaf add a leaf pack. The oem overload is removed. Loaded measurement from ground to wheel arch, 36 1/8" ,unloaded 36 7/8" so 3/4" sag. GVWR tag on door post states 5500 pounds. I have other everyday stuff (tools and what-not) behind and under rear seat , a Toyota bed liner , the load handler, and probably 1/2 tank of gas as of now. I would guess about 150 pounds of extra gear. plus me of course (148 lbs).That puts the legal /useful payload at 1060 pounds in my case. I used my load handler and forgot to remove the bed mat before loading.I usually take that out. That turned out to be no problem. I cranked the load out until it fell over the tailgate and drove off. Minimal effort required on my part. I do have the steel tailgate re-enforcement plate (heavy), so no worries about a bent tailgate.

 

May I ask what kind of scale you use to weigh all that? Do you have a heavy-duty scale? If yes, could you please share where you got it from? I've only looked on Amazon so far, and all I find are regular body scales. And to be fair, while researching for the larger scale, I came across this smart body scale
