ok well my lift will be here soon so gotta get tires and rims.
i was looking and the backspacing and stuff confused me.
what bs should i be looking for?
do i need new lug nuts?
    should i go 17x8 or 17x9?
are 275 tires less likely to rub and do they look bad with 3'' of lift like 265's?

oh and im gunna throw this Q in...will the tsb aal lift the back to 3"

pics are welcome to give me some ideas of rims and tires :)
    thanx

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
#1) ur looking at maybe 2.5" or so from TSB and the TSB AAL
#2) the most common BS for aftermarket wheels that work for us is 4.5"/0 offset
    #3) i'd go 17x8 w/ 285/70/17
#4) prolly need to get a set of acorn style lugs, but dependant upon the wheel
#5) 275's would be less likely to rub and wouldnt look bad, but for the amount of trimming, may as well go 285's

I went with 17 x 9 with 4.5" offset with 265 x70R17 and 3" toy lift and they scrub every now and then when backing up and turning hard.
So if you want the bigger tires i suggest the 17 x 8

I have 17X9 MM 951's with 265/70 17s. The offset is -12 and they don't rub at all with the Toytec Ultimate lift with the coilovers set at 3.
