3" lift and bigger tires?

    Hello all, Tacoma newbie here. Just picked up a 2017 TRD Sport and looking to lift it 3" and put some larger tires on. Anything I need to know? Best brands, what NOT to do, etc? Thank you all in advance.

    Congrats on the new truck!

    TW has a ton of information on lifts and tires.

    The majority of what you read will be not to do any spacer lifts and to invest a little on your suspension. If you are on a tighter budget look into getting 5100's and an aal.

    Tires will be your preference on the brand and type. Our stock truck without a lift can fit 265 70 17's without any rubbing.

    Have fun and get ready to not have any money!

    What not to do is get a level or spacer lift if you intend to take your truck off road.
