I did, thanks. Larry, the inner boots don't look as rough as yours, but they're not too far back. Whoever posted that unadjusted Toytec...I hate you...those angles look great...

That's fine. Looks like I'm heading towards 2.5" anyway

I'm not sure that's CV wear. If you look at the fin in front of it, there's a mark just like that on the top side where the fins are *definitely not* rubbing. I washed it right after lifting...wonder if that's just dirt running off...

Someone needs to hurry up and come out with a reasonably affordable replacement solution...c'mon Wyatt!

Last I heard, Rock Solid Toys was working on a high-angle CV axle that was going to be priced somewhere mortals can afford. There's a replacement out there now, but it's like $800 to $1000 per axle for the things. That's absurd. Replacement axles are about $70 once you get the core charge back. You could replace axles for years and not match the price of one of those things.

Yeah, I still don't like the orientation. Check your PM. I think I'm gonna drop 'em to 38.5" tomorrow and fuck up that alignment I had done on Saturday.

That's news to me about Wyatt coming out with a cv. I wouldn't mind finding out more info. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

That sucks about the alignment. I'd wait a couple of days after you adjust them to let the settle then get the alignment. That's just what I'm doing.

Yeah. Thought I could rely on measurements. Derp. Also, settling might take longer for me because I drive the truck maybe once a week.

I'll take pictures of mine tomorrow but they are almost parallel to the ground. Yours look angled a little to much but shouldn't be bad if your lift settles a bit.

I'd appreciate it. I'll get new pics after I drop it a bit tomorrow and see how things look. I'll hold off on the alignment til the end of the month as it's not my DD and won't see much tire wear in the meantime.

Also, in case anyone is curious current measurements:

Ground to fender well: 39" passenger, 38.75" driver
Wheel Hub to fender well: 24" passenger, 23.75" driver

Icon extended travel COs, 1.5" thread showing on passenger side, 1.75" on driver's side.

Tomorrow I plan to adjust down to 38.25/38.25 and 23.25/23.25. I'll update on visible thread after that.

Interesting. Those look like they're bent more sharply, but in a different area of the boot.

Weird. Maybe it's the angle of the photo. In any event, more to come tomorrow after adjustment.

You could also put a diff drop to reduce the angle on the boots. reall cheap and affective

^ I totally forgot he mentioned that the skid was modified. Then again still read to pros and cons from this and I am not trying to start an arguement either :D
